At Viaro School we focus on fun ways to practice English<\/a>. Children will be more motivated to use the language when an activity is interesting and meaningful to them, such as games, songs, storytelling, craft making, drama and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most eagerly awaited activities in the school is The English Week<\/a><\/strong>. This year the thematic was Viaro\u00b4s Forest. With the collaboration of all the teachers and students we managed to create a spectacular forest at the entrance of the school where you can see the arts and crafts made by the students.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second cycle students took part in a vocabulary competition where they did a wonderful job recognizing and naming all the vocabulary words that we have worked on during the first and second term.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Gatenby delighted us with a concert with typical English songs<\/a> and nursery rhymes creating an ideal musical atmosphere for the children to enjoy and dance to.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invited the Primary pupils to tell stories to the little ones. They really did a great job as the children were very attentive and happy listening to the wonderful stories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The families organized themselves to go and tell a story to their children's class. It was an amazing experience full of emotions and some of them used the puppets <\/a>as an excellent storytelling tool. Thank you very much for your invaluable collaboration.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally, we had the opportunity to have a puppet show by IPA productions delighting us with a classic story such as Little Red Riding Hood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little Red Riding Hood walks through the forest towards her grandmother's house. On the way she meets all kinds of funny animals: a hedgehog, a squirrel, sleeping rabbits, a fox, a crow and even a dancing teddy bear! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our English Week is an open window to new activities and experiences with the English Language, a great way to practice new expressions and acquire new vocabulary.  We really had so much Fun!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
