A fun way to learn the colors

With the P3 A students we have worked on colors in a symbolic and fun way through gestures and movements.

Through songs, movement, stories, and games, the children will expand vocabulary, strengthen motor skills, practice critical thinking, develop self-confidence, and find out about the wonderful world  around them.

When we teach a new language, we need to use a lot of pictures for the children to understand what the words mean, so that they can also build up concepts. But not all children learn by seeing.

Some children learn by doing or by listening

If we show the picture of a word, and then say it and do a movement with our hands that symbolizes that word, we are encompassing all three learning styles. Teaching with movements and gestures helps the children to remember the vocabulary more easily.
